Sometimes things aren’t what they seem, and only on closer look do details emerge

My F/W 2025/26 graduation collection “Drugs You Should Try” plays with perception and expectations. At first glance, pieces appear familiar but reveal shifts on closer inspection.
It’s about illusions and optical tricks that invite a second look.

Voluminous padding, oversized silhouettes, and shifted layers create distorted visuals. Photorealistic prints mimic real chains hanging from pants; coins appear to fall from pockets but never hit the ground. Real objects were scanned, digitally altered, and printed directly onto fabric, inspired by trompe-l'œil, an art form creating 3D illusions.

A mix of materials: soft scuba neoprene, wool, and silk meet sturdy denim and canvas.
Accessories include 3D-printed chains hand-covered in fabric, plus a one-of-a-kind bag made from tattooed leather.

I created the entire collection myself. From the initial idea and illustrations to the pattern making, sewing, and final presentation.
